I had the honor of photographing a fellow Certified Professional Photographer. Susie contacted us because both my Father and I are certified through Professional Photographer of America. She was coming to Surf City, NC and wished to have a family portrait made. After speaking with her we chose to create their beach portraits at the south end of Topsail Beach. The evening had our usual afternoon showers but cleared out in time for our photo session.
We had fun talking about their mission work that took them out of North Carolina some years ago and how Topsail Island was home to Black Beard in the past. By playing with me Susie and her family allowed me to capture the love that this family has for each other.
